Digital Detox - (noun informal - a period of time during which a person refrains from using electronic devices such as smartphones or computers, regarded as an opportunity to reduce stress or focus on social interaction in the physical world)
Do you sleep with your smartphone or tablet by your bedside? Do you check your email, Facebook page or Instagram the moment you wake up? Do your family members implore you to look up from your phone?

Our lives have become excessively reliant on digital devices and the internet. Do you ever get the feeling that it is getting too much and you can never get away from it? G2G and M2M offer stressed up executives, professionals, entrepreneurs and busy parents the opportunity to disconnect from their overly connected lives. This is a DIGITAL DETOX like no other. Past competitors appreciate that our stage races enable them to escape from the demands of their jobs and relationships for one week in the year. They use that time to make new friends and relearn the art of conversation while bonding with a new family. You can too! By the end of the week, you will have unwound and made many new, lifelong friends. All types of communication devices, including phones, are banned. They wouldn’t be much use in any case, since over 90% of the course is too remote to get mobile phone reception.
The only exception is that we have a cyber tent where competitors can email loved ones or update their blogs (uploaded once per day – not real time) while we also deliver printed emails to camp - this is a FREE service.
Take this precious “me only” time to recharge your own batteries and reconnect with nature!
