An absolutely fantastic event that stands head and shoulders above almost anything else out there. Very physically demanding with some highly technical pieces, unrivaled ever changing scenery, simply the best race crew/volunteers and medical team I have come across anywhere in the world with relentless passion and support who I believe are the heart and soul of the event and the most inspiring group of runners I have had the pleasure of running with. – Anthony Ward, UK - G2G 2017

If you are thinking of your first multi stage ultra then look no further! If you want to be part of a family rather than just a number, this is the race for you! It is without a doubt the greatest experience I have had so far. The course is demanding yet spectacular, the views are incredible. The support team are amazing..ALL the crew, from the tents being set up, the organisation of the checkpoints, the medics treating the worst feet imaginable it is first class! Finally, the other competitors are the icing on the cake, you meet some remarkable people from around the world that keep you going until that final mountain climb. Thank you, Tess and Colin you have created a fantastic ultra-experience……..did I mention there is SAND….and lots of it – Aaron Oliver, UK - G2G 2017

Grand to Grand was my 4th staged ultra and the only race I went back to do a second time. It was that good. Professional race production by Tess and Colin Geddes, who are real people and not a big greedy company. Both racers that care about racers. Once you finish you are part of the family. Trust me. – Christopher Ballou, USA - G2G 2014 and 2016

I don’t know how many races I've done in my life, but I assure you that there have been many. I’ve met many organizations and many runners. But this has been one of the best organizations I've ever met. My sincere congratulations to the organization and all runners who made it possible for me to spend a few days in a place as wonderful and spectacular.
–  Salvador Calvo Redondo, Spain, winner of 23 ultra marathons worldwide and first winner of the G2G Ultra - 2012

When you find yourself in a far off place and it causes you to re-think some things, you start to think that slowly you are becoming someone else. You will make the most amazing new friends and you start to think the things that have been lost on you are now as clear as a bell.‬ ‪If you are going through life so sure of where you are heading and you wind up lost, it’s the best thing that will ever happen to you.‬ You will laugh, you will cry, you will be knocked down and you will get up again.‬ You will wonder what the hell you are doing here, but nothing can ever compare to the elation of crossing that finish line.‬ ‪If you want to find a new you then get on that start line. What’s the worst that can happen. ‬ Oh and by the way, easy it ain’t.
